Redlands hosted 9 games and won 8 of them.
The only loss was the U14g S/C. It went into overtime. Some big wins by the U18g and the U16b no. 1 side. Cant quote any of the scores, sorry. They would be innaccurate.

Does anyone have the U16b s/c score for Maroochi v Caboulture?

Noosa Spartans game was good.
didnt expect noosa to do so well, especially seeing as though spartans closest game previous to this was 10 points.
from the very start noosa was ready to play hitting a big 3 in the first minute. noosa was leading at quarter time by 1. went into the 2nd quarter with belief and finishing some good moves and executing plays well great court vision and passing by the point guard. up by 2 at the half. 3rd quarter had a bit of a lapse in conentration and ended up down by 10 at end of the 3rd. in the last it kept pretty even and noosa made a bit of a run getting to within 5 points and hitting some big 3's. got back out to 10 with 20 seconds but noosa kept fighting getting to within 5 again only to be beaten by 9 points. Great game to watch. under estimated club with nothing to lose.
Watch out for them to be a force in the future.

It was a great game to be involved in. What makes this game more impresive for me is that I only had and used 7 players, with 2 U16 kids sitting bench for me to make up numbers and support the team. I thought we matched their physicallity in the post, offensively our ball movement and cohesion was great and just our overall work ethic awesome, which is something ive been trying to get out of the team for the whole season. As for the fact we lost, when you playing quality teams like spartans you cant afford to switch off or loose concentration for any part of the game, which is what happened in the 3rd quarter... however its a learning curve, this is only the 2nd rep season for my players, some 1st, so i hope to keep improving as the season progresses, we are not getting ahead of ourselves after playing 1 good game.

Good luck to spartans if they challange for Div 1. As for everyone else, please keep underestimating us.. we just had a lucky game.

The top players from what i can see are numbers 4,5 and 7 these players play well toghter. number 4 is a good passer and has good court vision. 5 is a good rebounder and post player and drives to the basket hard occasionaly and 7 is a good fast breaker and also can shoot well. Not sure of there names though.

Good post Noosa Coach. (Methinks your taking a leaf of another coach in the area a bit also)
Great job your doing with that Noosa team. From where they were on the pre season weekend against Gladstone, Goldy, Caboolture and Maroochy to how they are playing now is a credit to them and yourself in particular. Back then they had all the signs of a team going places by the in ya' face, kick arse D they played for 40 minutes without letting up. Now you've got them organised and channelled that intensity into a defensive system and some offensive patterns as well. Spartans should have no trouble moving into Div 1 and you guys arent far behind them. Keep it up! Have more "lucky days"!

Number 4 is Travis "T-Bone" Peeke, Number 7 is James Farrely and Number 5 is Ryley Buntain. These boys have a lot of undeveloped talent... I'd also like to commend Will Trodel's efforts, as he kept there big guys in check for a lot of the game and despite being somewhat undersized was tough down low... I can't finish this post without a shout out to L-Train, B-Cro and Paz the Birdman. Thanks to the two under 16 boys also. The team did a great job overall and probably could have won... Take nothing away from the District boys though, we know they're the standard in this comp. And as Coach said, we lost, so please feel free to underestimate us.
