Game Gear, Australia’s number #1 sports uniform and apparel brand, has been appointed the official team wear and merchandise supplier for the Australia Week festival in Los Angeles from January 17-26.
As part of the partnership, Game Gear will supply official team uniforms for the festival’s main event “The G’day USA Hollywood Ashes”, a 20/20 cricket match between Australia and England featuring some of the game’s biggest names.
Former Australian test and one day captain Steve Waugh will lead the Australian side in a match featuring former international players from both countries including Mike Whitney, Graeme Hick and Robert Key.
Game Gear, as official team wear and merchandise suppliers of the event, has designed a unique off-field merchandise range for distribution at Australia week events throughout Los Angeles and New York.
Game Gear, an Australian owned business, has recently added a Los Angeles office to its company structure complementing its existing presence in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Mumbai and Moscow.
Director of Game Gear, Luke Jenkinson believes this opportunity fits perfectly with Game Gear’s expansion into the domestic sports market in the United States, stating; “Not only is this a great opportunity to align ourselves with a unique international event, the G’day USA Hollywood Ashes, it also allows Game Gear to introduce and showcase our unique and professional products and services, team wear and fully customised sports uniforms to the US marketplace.”
