Oi i heard toowoomba grammar is a force to be reckoned with this year. They look like they will be the dark horse of the competition. I am yet to confirm this but i have heard they had 3 training camps over the holidays and have recruited a 6'9" guard fresh off the plane from nambia. You better watch out Ipswich, u know it matt.

Hi all, I am Declan Cox of the Churchie 1st 5 and i have a couple of things i would like to say regarding the above comments. First and formost i would like to congradulate the Churchie 1st 5 from last for the the dedication and courage they showed in the injury plagued 2007 season. Not once did the boys show any signs of quitting and for that i commend them. Secondly, i beleive that it is a disgraceful that people in the GPS community are giving churchie a hard time for some of the unforetunate and dissapointing losses that were a result of poor refereeing and injuries to key players. Lastly i would like to wish all GPS teams this year the best of luck for the upcoming GPS season which i hope will be one of the best seasons in recent memory.

BSHS and Churchie @ $5.50 are third picks with daylight the rest.

End of the day TSS with 2 under 18 state players plus a reserve ( 1 guard and 2 bigs) are a well blanced side with too much depth for the rest of GPS teams.

Ipswich with 1 big (Matt) a guard (Denzel) and a 3 man (Mark) will test TSS but lack the depth.

BSHS have no legitimate bigs and will struggle against the above opposition.

Churchie lack depth but will be well coached.

Title may come down to home court advantage in games between the top 4 sides.

Apparently some players in the GPS are faking injuries now they know of the dominance that Sam Treibels will hold over the entire competition. Star players must not be willing to ruin their reputations so they are withdrawing as a safety mechanism.
