The spartans team is looking solid, Dylan has his boys looking the goods. they are all looking really fit and skillful.

The team had a solid grading comp winning all there games by considerable margins and will carry the momentum onto the actual season.

Ipswich and BBI will be their main competion within the age group but might find it hard to match the skill of the Spartans Team.

districts will win this game hands down, dylan has these boys ready to go for the season. fittest team on court, most skilled too. with the addition of some swm boys, they will be the team to beat all season. only question is who will be playin them in grandfinal at classics.

Yea I agree with the last guy. Brisbane will give Sd a good game but in the end sd will just b to strong especially with their 2 new star players Regan Crocker and Mitch Roetteler. The 2 ex s.w players have been working extremely hard from wat i have seen from the training i watched with their fitness levels unbeatable. Regan's skill inside combined with Mitch's ball handles, passing abilities, scoring abilities and athletiscm will b the ifference in th comp this year. but apart from sd's 2 key players this year they still have a very good all round team wih bench players just as good as starters

i agree, districts over south west by at least 10. south west boys are getting very cocky already however, especially to other older members of the association to what i've heard. Saw two of them actually talking smack to the 18's south west captain while he was warming up for the districts game, when i asked him he said that they were talking like they'd already won the state championship. leeroy will hav to control that if he wants to top 4 it this season. and kids, respect the older players. believe it or not, but some of them hav got just a bit more experience and skill than you have so be nice =D

i Think that spartans this year are going to kick every1s butt this year especially ippy and brissy i think regan crocker is going to have the best season out off allout us and lead the team in a vice-captain position to the finals and to nationals

both teams played well SD big really made the dif. starting gaurds and the big for SW had good games were up by as much as 12 points at one stage however 3 of the starters got into foul trouble earliy in the 3rd quarter and were on bench until late in 4th. whilst SD big continues to show the type of form he has shown iin the first 3 games SD will be a force. although it was the first game i saw of SW i can understand why they beat ippy and logan in previous games. they are a very well drilled, not flashy and not suprisingly with Leroy being the coach that there defence is outstading( held SD to 44 and Ippy 45 cant see any other taem doing that even these 2 against each other). i am very much looking forward to the ippy SD contest in a couple of weeks, for waht its worth ippy by 3 to 7. i think logan are the most underrated team and have been unlucky... big win coming for them against goldie. best game for round 4 will be Bris v SW. only a few points in this one could go either way. anyway what a great 14s comp with 5 teams in the thick of it, i think brisbane have shown that goldie are running where they are on the ladder due to the easier draw than the others in the top 6.of what i have seen i rate them this way ippy and SD either #1 or 2 cant split them at this stage. with Brisbane SW and Logan fighting it out for 3rd and 4th.

i am not sure if you have the correct info. croker has been game top scorer in at least 2 games, runaway bay(30 somthing points) and SW. (18 points) the ones i have seen.

the number 4 from SW scored 16 against rottler and contained him to 8.he didnt do much carring that day, whats going to happen when he comes up against Ralphy this weekend?

the reffs were not great but as Sw had 3 of there starters on 4 fouls by half time including oscar one of the best players in this age group. (along with Crocker Cody and ralphy) i would hadly call them playing for SW and to take your argument to its logical conclusion the refs wer playing for SD as SD only had 1 player in foul trouble which was late in the 3rd quarter.

for SW to come with in 2 points of SD or should i say containing Crocker to less than 20 points was a good effort. but i believe that the well coached ippy team will win and will win well.no matter how many points Crocker scores SD just dont have the guards to match ralphy and his partners in crime.

Brisbane got us by about 6 or 8. Transition baskets got us and we were out rebounded again. We played brilliantly in patches, looking for consitency. Brisbane stepped up their defence an one of there guards hit some clutch threes with the clock winding down on the shot clock. Also iced us on the foul line as we had to foul at the end.

Ipswich look the goods. Ralphy was amazing aginst Spartans a couple of weeks ago. There bigs rebound and run well too. Its been a great comp. Good luck to all teams

I think we got up by 47, 83-36 i think that was the score im sorry if its wrong. But it was a great fight for the south west boys to stay in it, we just got away with it in the 3rd and 4th. First quarter south west up by 4. Half time we were up by 10. They didnt give up, but we werent letting them back into this it was ours all the way. Its going to be a hard one this week with Spartans beating Logan, it was going to be a hard one anyway.

What an excellent series this has been.... any one of the top 5 teams could have been playing this Saturday. Well done to SD Titans who simply out rebounded us and beat us on the fast break for much of the game. We can guarantee a different story next time we meet.... lol!!!!!

It is quite ammusing to see Spartans supporters blame there lose on the refereeing! It must be difficult to accept the truth, Spartans are not the best. It is disgusting to see who ever you are, bag those two refs, who were clearly qualified for the job. If they were not the best refs there then they would not have been given the final, would they! Seriously wake up! Ipswich are a talented and well drilled team that deserved the State title more then Spartans!

the pools seemed to my eye very uneven as seen in every playoff for 1/2 , 5/6 as they were all the best from the pool B i think it was, without a doubt Ipswich and Spartans were the best teams over the whole week and Ipswich a worthy winner being the superier team all season, Spartans gave Ipswich everything on Wednesday but came up short on the day it matterd. The final was a great game with two teams giving it all they had. and they will both be representing QLD along with Townsville at nationals in Darwin.
Credit to Ipswich and there staff have some great players within that team, and a great coach within terry, goodluck at nationals i think they might be in with a chance to give it a crack with the team they have. No one at the start of the season thought Spartans would even be in a chance to get into the classics final and they showed it all season that they were the real deal with some great players and a very young coach, someone told me he was 19 not a bad effort getting to nationals.

i watched most games at the classic and i just couldnt go past number 15 for ipswich and number 10 for spartans as in who played well

THere is an under 15 qld south develepment team that will be competeing in january against teams from across australia and new zealand last it year it was held in Port Mcquarrie but dont no if it is there again or somewhere else

I think you will find Maroochydore have been the most sucessful club this year. Taking out both U18 Boys and Girls titles, U16 Boys and U12Girls. Thats 4 out of 8!!!

I heard a pretty crazy rumour and i was wondering if its true. aparently regan crocker isint allowed too go too under 14s nationals just because hes moving too Brisbane next season. Thats abosolutely riduculous whoevers the idiot making the choice that he may no be going is simply being selfish with an old rivalry. maybe you dont understand but when a queensland team goes to nationals even though its a area representive (i.e Brisbane, Northside Spartans) they are still representing queensland south as a whole. Taking regan out of the nationals spartans team is insulting too queensland as a whole, and also severly reduces there chances of winning. this is absolute crap. i dont care whos making the descsion let the kid play.
