I'm really looking forward to these playoffs, in particular the battle from the West. I'm still shocked the Warriors, who finished 48 & 34, missed out!

For anyone interested (Mitch/ALW I'm looking at you), let's see who can come closest to calling the first round match-ups .....

EAST
(1) Boston v (8) Atlanta - Celts in 5
(2) Detroit v (7) Philadelphia - Pistons in 6
(3) Orlando v (6) Toronto - Magic in 5

WEST

I really hope ESPN shows the Lakers/Denver or Spurs/Suns battles, they will be great. Cavs and Washington wouldn't be too bad either.

Just for good measure I will boldly predict a Suns/Celtics finals series, with my beloved Celtics winning in 6. Thank God the Spurs dynasty is about to end, I can't stand to watch them in another finals series.....BORING

it will be tough celtics best team all year but my magic has a bit on them but will struggle
with Detroit if they can pull that series it will be good Eastern Conference finals

With the West home court will be big but i think it wont matter to some teams as teams have built to beat certian opponets
look at LA built to beat san antonio Phenox built up to get the spurs and lakers after getting Paul Gaso

now Dallas with kid if they get the up tempo game going with that will be one long night at the office the big men
on the otherteam

Agreed. What's up with showing all the Major League Soccer lately? I see another game on today. And NHL too? Ice hockey might be a great spectator sport but (1) it's a crap TV sport, everybody knows that, and (2)it's not played in Australia so there are hardly any fans.

And where has Fox Sports gone all of a sudden? They were sometimes showing more games a week than ESPN during the regular season.

Spurs take Game 3 in the Western Conference Finals. LA Lakers lead the series 2-1 and Game 4 will be at the AT&T Centre at San Antonio.

Hope the Lakers can pull through, expect Kobe to do some amazing shots. Come on LA, avenge the Hornets!
