Sunshine Coast must be in with a good chance with most of the State Classic gold medal winning team in there.
Not sure how the northern teams are looking though - might give them a run for their money?

yer sunny coast would be strong but i would definately watch for south coast or met east. gold coast having jaydon, jbt, googs, jarrod mcarthy, adam brown, aidan walsh, rupard and a few othere quality players. met east r usually strong with the semerads so i wouldnt expect any different this yr

Hard to know too much without knowing who is playing for what team. Maybe people could list the teams here when they are finalised?

Meteast side selected to go to Toowoomba is the typical school teacher I know nothing squad.
Poor selections will ensure meteast go know where in Toowoomba other than spending their spare time watching the flowers grow in their spare time.

with Nat crombie and Cam Bairstow with aba experience now, cant see this being a bunch of no names.
Crmbie was just selected in all star 5 for the NBL camp attended for invite only players from around australia. The camp was mostly aba players and Crombie also received an invite to train with NBL teams.

Wow you guys are real slow, that was sarcasim, in reality its obvious that Met East will go close. I was answereing "scorer".
So with keeping in the "sarcasim vein" I reckon Darling Downs will fight it out with Capricornia for the title.

With the school sport tournament coming up a couple of weeks after 18's classics i was interested in who is going to be competative.
Met East will be at their usual best, Sunny and South Coast will be decent, i don't think the teams from up north will be anywhere as good as last year's.
Met North could actualy be a quiet contender is Macca ans engstock both play. Do they have many other guys?
I honestly have no idea what MEt West will be like.
