Cairns, Logan and South West representing QLD.

Good luck to all the Qld girls teams at next weeks nationals.

I hope Cairns can reproduce the form they showed in April and I know the Logan and South West girls will be gving their best in every game.

Interesting to see that South West Metro's defeated Logan in the girls under 14's.

Away from the recent tour from my Japanese girls team I am not too sure what happened in the regular season of premier league but I heard they have a fairly strong rivalry and that Logan took them down at Classics and in the Logan Invitational tournament.

Not sure if maybe the game style at the Nationals and the toughness of playing every day at that level has had an affect (good or bad) on the teams or if any have injuries etc etc...hard to follow it.

Looking at the results it seems like (I stand corrected as it is hard to navigate through and can't find a ladder) that Cairns are 4-0, South West 3-1 and Logan 2-2.

It also appears like Mikhaela Donnelly has been very impressive. I know that the coaches who toured with me to Australia were very impressed with her all-round game.

The clip from the BA website about the Logan vs South West game reads as follows:
Cairns 4-1 (into the semi's I think)
South West 4-1 (not sure if they are finals bound or....)
Logan 2-3 (again no idea where that puts them)

Was also great to see in the write up of one of the games a mention for great young defensive players with Megan Trinder getting a thumbs up for her defensive efforts.

i agree christina and mikhaela are very good players and should be scoring quite alot.
