Whatever happened to Southern Cross? Living in the States now and was planning a move back home next year, hoping to play a somewhat competitive league but it looks like it's QABL (which seems pretty serious) or the Monday night old man's league at Carina.

What's available???

You must've been out of the loop for the last few years mate. Southern Cross merged with Super 8 (or whatever it was called) a few years ago to form the QABL, which has proven to be a great competition.

Your choices would be to tag on to a QABL team, or hook up with someone to play GBL on Wednesday nights at Auchy. If you want something less competitive, there is the QABL d League as well.

QABL has incorporated Southern Cross and State comp into one in a format thats working well. Queensland teams have won the last two National playoof series in men and women. Careful what you say about the old man's leagues less you be schooled by one of them.
Welcome back Henny.

for getting back to me so quick. The wednesday night deal at auchenflower sounds like it would be fun, might try and play for a team there. Hate auchenflower's gym though. Have they done anything to add a little light to court 1 & 2?
