Nathan Jawai may, unfortunately, never play in the NBA, because of an enlerged heart.

My friend is the Director of Basketball Development at the Raptors and he told me tonight that Nathan passed his latest tests and will begin practicing immediately (2moro) and will be playing in the near future.

In regards to Fearne being here, I asked my contact and he said he hadnt heard of any such deal to have Fearne there to look after Jawaii, so Im not sure if he is here or not. I have been to the last few Raps games and havent seen him around so Im not sure.

I saw in the Courier Mail this morning that he has passed his tests. Let's hope he can make a career in the NBA.

Wolves Acquire Nathan Jawai

Oct 20, 2009 5:29 PM EST

The Dallas Mavericks have agreed to trade center Nathan Jawai to Minnesota for a future second-round pick, according to team sources.

The deal will be announced later Tuesday, sources said.

The Wolves were able to absorb Jawai's salary into open cap space.

Injuries to Kevin Love and Al Jefferson have created a need for Minnesota in the frontcourt.
