Confirmed. Cleveland v Detroit on Ch10 HD from 6:30am Monday morning. Detroit sucks to watch, but certainly better than no game at all.

Your right about Detroit sucking to watch. They didn't have any chemistry Saturday vs Boston.

Just had a look at the game FTA television is getting for the rest of the season.

There are a few double-headers shown from 13/3. Unfortunately a lot of games showing the usual suspects - Lakers, Spurs, Hornets, Cavs.

Some of the games I'm looking forward to ...

2/3 - Cavs @ Hawks

20/3 - Blazers @ Cavs, then Warriors @ Lakers

23/3 - Clippers @ Raptors

3/4 - Jazz @ Nuggets

yeah i have to jack my sound up to maximum and then its somewhat normal.... but the ads are so loud!

i run it thru my audio system and its work better than doing thru TV speakers.

sometimes the sound is delayed by a second, sometimes fixed at half time though.

lakers suns yesterday was a waste of time.

Ditto. It's a pain where you constantly have to readjust during every ad break. Hopefully it will improve when the network comes on line properly (April???). Then again maybe it's just a ploy from Ten to gain their viewers' attention.

The reason the sound is 'low' on your HD channels is because they are using the full AC3 encodings which means you should be able to get full surround sound. If you are just using your TV speakers your are only getting two of those channels.

If you put it through your 5.1 receiver you should get the full experience....

Also, the reason the sound 'goes up' during add breaks is because the ads are just being broadcast in normal stereo. You wouldn't notice this going through your receiver, you just wouldn't get sound in the surround channels.

I'll look into that. I'm using surround sound atm though .... :eyebrow:

Yeah, this is an issue. I think this will be fixed when ONE HD is actually launched (something to do with the AFL season starting).

Is this only 10 HD in the south east corner?

I have Southern Cross HD working, but it is only playing scenery videos.

SC10 is a separate company owned by the Mac Bank. They are based in Canberra and just relay the TEN programs.

Unfortunately they don't have the equipment yet to relay HD programs, but they are currently building these which should be finished any day now...

They have said that they would start broadcasting the oneHD when it comes online but have not given any actual date yet. Just that it will happen later this year.

One of the problems with SC10 is that they generally only broadcast to regional (smaller) areas which might have problems supporting (get enough sponsors for) another channel. That is why they are in no hurry.

The only thing that may save us poor folk in regional areas is that Canberra is in the same boat and will therefore be pushing the issue.

All you city-folk must be getting ready for the official oneHD launch tonight...

For all the country-folk have a read of this: ONE HD: SC10 & Foxtel ‘fess up (http://www.tvtonight.com.au/2009/03/one-hd-sc10-foxtel-fess-up.html)

Looks like mid-year for ya all....

A heads up for all NBA buffs.

One HD is replaying G6 of the 1997 Finals Series between Chicago and Utah. 10pm start. Apparently there will be other old school hits later on, but that's the only one I can see on the guide.

If any other games come to your attention, be sure to post them here!!!

Tomorrow night (Wednesday) there is G5 of the 99 Finals - Knicks v Spurs. I think it's a 9:30pm start but check to be sure.

I got up early this morning for a workout with friends (did anyone else know there is also a 5 o'clock in the morning too), flicked on ESPN while having some Brekky and caught the first quarter of Utah Vs Real Madrid. Interesting to see the different styles of an NBA team and a European team going head to head. Oh, and Madrid was actually up when I had to leave.

Im loving this NBA on ONE-HD

can anyone tell me what the actual day and times its on?

Is it on the same time every week or just at random?

Mr bEn
21-10-09, 19:11
Jazz v Rockets from 1997 Playoffs tonight at about 9pm - check your guides. I think it's the game where Stockton cans the triple at the top to put the Jazz into the Finals against the Bulls.

Also, check out the below link for the entire season's One HD / ESPN schedule.

http://www.nba.com/schedules/international_nba_tv_schedule.html

For those of you with One HD only, there will be plenty to keep you satisfied, beginning with double headers on both Wednesday and Friday next week. Not being on daylight savings though, I'd hazard a guess and say we will probably cop a one-hour delay as per last season.

6 Games on our screens this week.

One HD has a Double Header Wednesday & Friday Mornings with one of the games replayed those nights. Think I need to set up the recorder so I can catch both.

ESPN has Thursday game and Saturday game
