Miami dont have anything to offer....PHX dont want Marion back and i dont know if they are that keen on beasley.
Chicago or Golden State are my picks for where he may end up.
Chicago can offer good young players aswell as first round pick. Plus they have a good chance of signing amare to an extension in 09/10season as he would like chicago.
GSW also have some good young players they can offer, and they will throw picks at the suns.
Finally dont rule out detroit. or even a 3 way deal somehow.
he will def be traded suns dont want to sign him in his free agency year and you knew ever since they traded marion for shaw the whole style of play changed in pHX> From there it was rebuild - kerr stuffed up simple.
Imagine if he had given joe johnson a decent contract , amare, nash, barbosa, bell and johnson....so so tough
I hope they don't: they really should be building around him and Barbosa in the future. If I had to choose, I'd want Chris Bosh and Nathan Jawai from Toronto, or a deal with Drew Gooden, Luol Deng and/or Kirk Hinrich from Chicago. The team's variability this year is all to do with Terry Porter coaching (or lack of) skills.

Here is the latest...if i was the suns i would take it. Everything they are looking for
he Portland Trail Blazers have made a strong play for Amare Stoudemire, discussing a package that includes LaMarcus Aldridge, Jerryd Bayless, and Raef LeFrentz's $12.7 million expiring contract, a person with direct knowledge of the talks told CBSSports.com Tuesday.

Not too bad, as per my reporting fo this headline i would kjump on it
Aldridge...athletic, younger and could fill amares shoes
Bayless...nash replacement and only a first year rookie so cheap.
Lafrents is an expiring giving PHX money to play with in the next year or two.
Fills all there needs and they are getting quality pieces.
I dont know why Portland would do it though...Oden and amare together im not to sure. I can see it ending up like Bosh and Oneal. 2 bigs dont make a right.

talk on ther orlando boards is a deal has been done with cleveland and it will be announced after the all star game tomorrow
what do you mean the orlando boards? is it a deal between orlando and cleveland or phoenix and cleveland?

simply that orlando magic .com boards have info on that it just between cleveland and phoenix fellow orlando supporters are angry that we havnt made a play for him especaly since jameer when down.
An Amar'e trade to Orlando wouldn't work, simply because you'd have two pick and roll players, no point guard and two equally dominant bigs who need the ball. Amar'e wouldn't be happy because Dwight would get most of the attention. Hence the problem.

Agree with Cozza...Orlando is not the fit for Amare and nor do they have the pieces to make it work.
Cleveland have a lot of expirings to offer...and if you put lebron and amare together that could be tough (except amare doesnt play good enough d)
Bulls, portland and memphis all still in the picture apparently laong with Cleveland is the latest i heard

Watch the Kings to be dark horses in the race for A.S. with Salmons on the cards and others
Clev are the big movers and offered one which was refused but dont right them off counter offering!!
Toronto Bosh for Stoudimare straight up? Could that happen??
(Jose to Amare - very similar to Nash to Amare)
Terry Porter was fired today: does that mean that Amar'e will not be traded? Hopefully not, but still another 3 more days of trading.

He Will Get Traded!!
No. He won't. 140-100 with Alvin Gentry. Welcom back Fun 'n' Gun Suns.
And as the deadline comes and goes, both Amar'e Stoudemire and Shaquille O'Neal are in Phoenix.
An interesting article on the goings on of the trade deadline can be found at:
