Didn't it used to be 35?
Suddenly I'm feeling a touch older ;)
Ben.. they'll all tell you they were legends.. but no players such as Leroy, Heal etc. We did have the Spinning Bullets out on Sunday playing with and against a few of the ECC participants... great fun.. The SBs kick off their season at Auchenflower 20 June at 7pm.
The ladies have always been 30+. We decided to drop the mens' age to 30 in effort to make sure we have a min of 30 teams and also to encourage blokes in their early 30s to get a taste of the carnival and hopefully make it a annual event for them and their mates. We've had players attend everyone of the 14 ECCs, using it as an excuse to catch up with ol' mates, share a beer or two and play a bit of ball in a well organised yet fun atmosphere. Like one guy who was attending his fiirst ECC said to me at the end of the carny.."Lock us in for next year for sure". Anyway thanks again Ben for allowing us to promote the event on your site.
