MOTHERS, DAUGHTERS & SISTERS
This week the Southern Districts Basketball Association again will be trying to make a difference within the community when we have both our women and men playing in pink uniforms as part of the awareness campaign for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The doors will be open at 5:30pm for the Carina Leagues Club Lady Spartans game against the Sandringham Sabres at 6pm with the Arrow Caravan & Towbar Spartans also playing the Sandringham Sabres men at 8pm.
Ladies who have a pink “breast cancer bracelet’’ on or are wearing the “pink ribbon” will be admitted free.
This is such a great cause that we are asking all members of all Associations to get involved. Pass on this letter/email to get a full house showing our support for such an important issue.
Remember it could be your mother, sister or even a daughter who needs this support next.
