well it seems the QBL Preview writer is obviously an avid Bendoes reader and 2 cents fan this isn't suprising with my bookies adept knowledge of the game he could do worse although he does alot of fence sitting sumthing 2 cents only does occasionally...

since my in depth research methods have been questioned and scorned i thought i would stick to something simple to differentiate between winners and losers using Warm up music to get through this week and hopefully rise to the collegian level intellect of the anonymous readers of this forum...

OK I realise this is all in good fun, but there is no WAY in hell that the caps are going 0-2 on the CQ (gladdy, bundy) trip they have FAR too much class for the Bulls who are totally reliant on two imports and I think Gladstone will be a good challenge but think they will be too strong for them. Caboolture to continue brilliant early season form and win over the yet to perform Pirates.
Brisbane coming off a high against Townsville, will need to keep Hanson and Moore in check but a victory is likely.
Cam T and the Wizards expected to bounce back big time against the Force. Tragardh v Broom will be a good match-up.
Goldie should defeat the struggling Mountain Men comfortably. Toowoomba lack size and depth.
Cairns will be favourites but don't write off the Heat with Tovey returning and the side under the pump.
Rockhampton easily over a young yet improving Clippers outfit.
Interesting game, can see Gladstone getting a win here as long as the home crowd cheers them home.
Mackay to continue winning ways and make Maroochy's trip north a long one.

Izzy Tueta has found and exterminated the vampires from under his kitchen sink. (Homos kept stealing his potato chips) and with the Dante love returning and the chance to see themselves play on livestreaming rather than one of Waz's 40 min pre game video sessions the Clips are fired up to do a Rocky on Rocky. Whether theyre right or wrong the Clips boys reckon Stevie Weigh has robbed Scott Kenny of his Boomers spot and are keen to show the selectors how wrong they were. Boys have pooled their tuck shop money and laying a full $3.75 and four packets of Cheezels, a small Coke and a Hav-a-hart on themselves to take the W. (Course they'll throw the game if guaranteed underaged admission to the night club after)
Colby Stefanovich Gianni and Dante are leaving early and running from Rocky to St Lawrence to catch a few crabs as a warm up before catching the bus again at Sarina and cruising in to show Fitz what he's missing out on and that Waz is King...not Leonard. 1. Neal Tweedy has been doing this long enough to have learned a thing or 2 and built up a nice list of contacts.
2. Rocky's good reputation as a place to play.
3. Money
4. Luck

we have had many problems to overcome, main one is no centre has fast enough internet, we tried a wireless with antenna in the interim but couldnt raise enough, even livestats was having problems, so we are waiting for upgrades, which take time apparently. Website is in progress.

Tell you one more thing I'd like to know how many brissie boys are bruised tonight after running into #55 last night. Congrats to both teams, very entertaining game. Agree glove played well, and gurney did not play well at all, his highlight was he hit an open 3 and let howard know about with his strut and smack ritual after each shot he makes. Neers played best they have all season and hopefully will continue good play and pick up a W!!!

Dont take a good win away for us, we played well and deserved the win.

I am pretty sure caps are deep enough to travel well and they spread mins out against bundy so that is rubbish about them being tired, as for them drinking we I am not to sure about that and sure it was only a couple. they are veterens and smart enough.

I do think it would have been a totally different game if barty was there as defensivly the guy is great, Ben castle played great Defence on kingma and the boys could not get that 3 going shooting 11 from 40.

we needed that as we go to cairns and townsville this weekend...... Tough!

Easy there girl.... It is obviously just a couple of ex-teammates having a bit of fun with each other. Same as what was happening on the court.

I know the Neers are yet to record a win but it was another great game to watch. G-love pulled out some big shots when it counted and young Matty had some nice drives, definitely not shy..

I was fairly impressed with the GC boys. They played with a good temperament, all very athletic and fit. They ran well and contested every rebound. The only limitation I see in their game is that they have a very short bench, and like most GC teams, they live and die by the jumper. I am sure Ronnie will have a huge influence on that team.

I personally think Gurney had a very good game. I think he has raised his game to another level and become more of a team player, one of the areas he needed to work on in the past. This could just be because the GC is a better fit for him but I am sure that by the end of this season he would be a great pickup for the Blaze.

I have also been a fan of young Ohla for a while now. Very athletic. Needs to work a little on his outside shot but definitely a player to watch in the future. I thought he was held back in previous years by some of the other players, who have now moved on.

As for the Neers, Glove and Tribe will always be good but it is the younger guys you need to be worried about. As they get used to this level and start getting experience, they are the ones who will make Toowoomba a force to be reckoned with... (Well that and the fact that winter is coming so anybody playing on the mountain better bring some blankets :D)

The simple fact is that these guys are going to have a hard year because the depth in there side doesnt even get out of the toddlers pool. The top teams in this comp have depth and players that are ready to do what it takes to win.

Im in rocky love the game dont need the ego feed but i fell the same way. I have seen these guys play and you are right its like a train crash. All you can do is watch and cant explain how bad it is. Its a shame that grandpa Grieves is not playing but good to see Tribe take that place but what has happened to Ada. Was he hurt last year and the start of this year. But even with depth in this team, they need more than an import or 2.

Origins date back to the first Power win over Bundy in our first game as part of ABA (southern x) and took approx a half hour to hour or 2-3 drinks on the bus trip home...

Nagas I played for the Rockets when they lost 22 games straight. We still sung and 2 or 3 drinks in half an hour, come on sissy's! That was mandatory between the dressing room and the bus!
Now they win and they don't sing. I guess they would be sick of hearing their own voices because they win so much.
