have to as the question how many practices did sun coast have before school boys turny. met east had 1 1/2 sessons ( 4 boys turned up to one practice). so wouldn't say that coach had much impact. realy more of start them up and stand back
2 plus 1 against the clippers ladies

Maybe Met East coach and players thought they had it in the bag
Maybe Met East coach and players thought they had it in the bag
With the side Met East put on the floor, I find it highly unlikely that over confidence would have been much of a problem. Second was a good result for that group.

And maybe the Met East coach shadowed Richard Morris

So they didnt win classics by themselves, Warwick won it for them, but they won this one by themselves and Mark had nothing to do with it? Thanks for clarifying. In what ways are they worlds apart?
I have to say that this is a very special group. They are the smartest group I have coached and are tough, determined focussed and can implement precise instructions on court.
It took us all year to build the defence and the offence and sharpen the individual skills required. The team were still noticeably improving each game at classics and peaked for the finals. We (the coaches ) joked that the team were playing well enough they could probably win without us being there as they had taken on board everything we had implemented which included 8 (4 zone and 4 man) defensive sets 10 man o's and 5 zone o's They were able to switch seamlessly between them. The players had the freedom to change the plays and switch the d's on the court which they often did
Mark on the other hand had them for 2 or 3 trainings and had to play the tournament. He left most of the o's and d's in place added a zone press which worked nicely and then managed the team superbly for the situation he was faced with. It was another outstanding performance from the boys and was a pleasure to watch.

have watched the marrochy side since under 12s from the BBI side of the fence and have always felt that we'd get you next time. well times up. what suprises me is that given the size of the BBI club comp ( 25 u18 boys teams in 3 divs) and I'am assuming Marrochy would be 1/2 of that, that the numbers didn't win out. you've done a great job. suprises me to read that you had so many offensive and defensive sets as it was so well exicuted and that usually means keep it simple, if it ain't broke don't fix it, sort of stuff.

Wild guess full state team
Cory
Cam
Seth
Mitch
Garret
BC
Sam
Max
Stybross-or Kelly
1 other mobile big
In that situation Waz would be an interesting choice He has a core of Quality players the others simply have to slot into a system thats already up and running
No disrespect to the others. Shane froling has a proven record just food for thought
Obviously another south person writing that shit\, dont disrespect us north kids mate, saying some of those kids would be in there, dunno who stryboss or kelly even is and max aint better then me, not being cocky just tellin it how it is.

I didnt say i would play a mobile big did i cock face, and coach that had hallf a brain would take me over max in any position, so hes big? But thats about all he does.. Sam played a better game then me at classics and thats good that he did i respect him and his game and how much determination he has even though he seems like his heads up his arse but i guess thats how most of the basketballers our age are? But still dont rate him better then me but

OMG You are an unbelievably arrogant young man. I saw you get sent off in a game against Maroochy @ the classics for saying a 4 letter word to one of the refs. You are so full of yourself and strut around the court like you are gods gift but believe me you are far from it. Your coach must be desperate for players when he picks you as a player in his team because you don't deserve to be in there with the attitude you have and your complete disrespect to other players, coaches and referees. Grow up and try to learn what respect is because your constant outbursts and performance affect all your team mates and they are the ones that are being let down the most and you just give them a bad name.

Good for you standing up for yourself but no need to disrespect others when you do it. Max however is more mobile, a better defender and rebounder than you and in the team mentioned he is a better fit because he is a role player and does not need to score. Maroochys game is based on team defence and the offence feeds off that. You would know that as Tville did not score a single basket in the paint in any half court set in the final as the bigs defended well and the guards doubled down as to help them out
Nothing personal just another opinion

Yeah well why dont you tell that to all the coaches that have put me in teams buddy, cause that must mean theres alot of desperate coaches out there aye. And dont say shit about me and my team mates, i consider them my best mates and they know id do anythin for em, so dont tell me i let them down, up yours

A good post player has "post moves". you really cant compare me to max and say hes better and whatever cause youve prolly seen me play about 4 or 5 games? Yeah he does get more boards but iid be a bit worried if he wasnt :s and whatre on about better defender they played a zone and he hardly ever gets on? Sam is a good defender. Im not even gonna argue with you, nothing personal just another opinion

Keehan has a point. Most of the south guys have their heads so far up their arse they can see sunlight. And it's called boastful rather than arrogant if it is supported. No matter how you try to pose an argument, you cannot convince me that Max Tauvo is a state caliber player. The bergen twin was robbed of a spot and had an all-state team been selected I'd also choose keehan over Max. Also, Matthew Strybos should have been picked over Jarrod Gamble or David Prior on the bench. Those guys have well and truly outplayed those guys who made it in games and trials. I was very surprised to see Gamble, Prior and Tauvo on the list after watching the trials to say the least.

Thanks mate we should party together sometime :p Nar but seriously im not being cocky or trying to disrespect Max like he is fairly new to ball but im just saying that in posting that other comment it did disrespect a lot of the north kids who train there asses off aswell and have just as much talent as the guys down here.

Max is a very good defender rebounder and can spe^^^^^^e. The bergens have potential but are poor defenders and lack experience . Plenty of scorers around we need D and boards

that would be SPE^^^^^^E
Add to that Cory making the state team at schools. He was the best point guard there and finally got rewarded Mdore now with 5 state reps this year
Congrats to AAron for making shadow another one who has slipped under the radar in the past

Max boards then gets it stolen off him ha so defeats the purpose. And he cannot defend liar. Most bigs score on him quite easily??? Dunno what you're watching. Don't think experience is the Bergens problem, they've played rep and aba. Think its more coming from a shithole hahahahahha.
