For those that don't already know, the NBL is coming to Darwin for their 2009 pre-season.
The 'Top End Challenge' is replacing the Pre-Season Blitz and will feature all 8 NBL teams in Darwin playing one game each team each night over three nights in a knockout format.
The games are held on September 3rd (Thu) ~ 5th (Sat) at Darwin Basketball Stadium and Marrara Indoor Stadium.
It is a major boost for basketball in Darwin/NT and no doubt it will be strongly embrassed by the locals.
Anyone who is interested in purchasing tickets can contact the DBA office on (08) 8945 4666. They are $20 per adult per day or $50 for a three day pass and half price for children aged 16 and under. The ticket entitles you to entry to both stadiums.
Games at DBA Stadium tip-off at 5pm and 7pm while at Marrara Indoor they tip-off at 6pm and 8pm. All games are fully timed 10 minute quarters. The stadiums are within 100 metres of each other.
