Maroochydore is still the "team" in this division. They have dominated as a unit since U12's. Expect them to dispose of Spartans who have a less experienced side than Maroochydore.
Gold Coast to be too strong for Ipswich.
SeaHawks too skilful for Ipswich.
Match of the round; Brisbane to account for Logan but I believe the margin will be a lot closer than other predictions.

tight game, seahawks without one of their best starters, wiz down 3 players for the 1st qtr due to school bball commitments, was a high scoring match and hawks were tough inside getting many offensive boards, and the guards were stroking it from downtown aswell.

Last year's team were impression and, I think that had each team played the other in their pomp, we'd see the 2009 champions dominate. But this 2010 team is further ahead of their peers. Perhaps Gold Coast or Southern can step up to the plate.. I hope they can, or this is going to be another 23-0 job.

I am certainly not going to "Flame on" about the statement, I am very impressed by the Brisbane squad, something worth admiring from another clubs perspective. However, the above statements do tarnish some of the admiration that you would get from playing a high standard of basketball.

By saying they aren't that good its not i respect to every team in the comp. Saying they are untouchable is crazy! Not to mention arrogant as all hell. Logan is vying for 3rd spot? I don't think they are understrengthed at all. Give them credit! They have a couple of really good players and the worked very well as a unit. They were definitely better drilled than the Brisbane team and we're looking to give most teams a good run for their money.

I saw the bris logan game and have to agree that bris looked exceptionally good Logan were in the game and playing very well coming back from a 15 pt deficit to 6 behind late in the second qtr and then missing a number of easy shots. They ran a very aggressive press and were extremely quick up and down the floor
Brisbane had an exeptional 3rd qtr while the logan bench were on and blew the game wide open within a couple of minutes.
As in the grading tournament all brisbane players contributed and the team did look very good both in 1/2 ct o and fast break. Their defence was also very good especially in the 3rd when the game was won
Interesting comparisons to last years team and the similarities are striking
Both teams had 2 exceptional guards with solid backup and legitemate inside presence with the forwards also having mid range and 3 pt range ability
I would think that last years team may just pip them but I think they are both great teams and and this fictional game could go either way
I am not a brisbane supporter I just happened to be there and enjoyed the game immensely
Logan are a far more dangerous team than the score suggested and on the right day with the right strategy could topple bris and certainly any other team in the comp
If a team plays wll we should be able to say so here and not be abused its only opinion and we all have them. Bris do look great at the moment will be very interesting to see how the season and the various teams develop develop

Logan will be to strong for Ippy, Logan by 10
Maroochy will account for NS, my guess by 20
Seahawks to beat SD, mmm by 8
BBI will win, but will be pushed by the GC, BBI by 12
