Go Spurs I say :) I'm a big fan but I think the Lakeshow will get to the Finals from the West. Gotta say the understaffed Jazz have been a huge surprise so far though dusting off the Nugs.

And can't believe the Celts smashed the Cavs in G2 today .... ugh!

yea it was tough for the nuggets with out there coach... all those ego's! although they dont match up great against the jazz and have had trouble most of the year against them

Whats disapointing is that the nuggets match up really well and I think would have beaten them, jazz not so much except D williams which they are saying ron artest will try cover him. I think kobe will end up guarding him and artest on boozer.

yea magic will beat up on the hawks with match ups and advance.

I missed the game but KG got some shots up so must have beatin the cavs with that pick and roll and rhondo also has 19 dimes.

yea that loss hurt me a little on the inside i've been talking the Cavs up like Phil Gould talked up Andrew Johns..

i said the Nuggets were sh!t to a few of the boys but i was joking when i said Jazz would beat them..

yea i think lakers will take out West as well, So if my boy LJ doesnt come through i'll put my moolaa on Superman to get Kobe an crew..

I think a lot of people have under estimated the Celtics, they have been there before , Cavs rely to heavily on Lebron , if Lebron doesn't play well they don't win..

Garnett an Perkins are injured after game 2 with a strained foot an hyper extended knee both didnt train yesterday Perkins said he will play regardless an Rivers said he cant gurantee Garnett will play but i think its just smoke an mirrors like Lebron they will play regardless of injury..

although i cant seem to find any news on the extent of LJ's elbow if it gets worse etc anyone know???

Lebron has had 3 MRI scans thats about the only information.

Celtics are too inconsistant as they have shown all season. Lets just say the magic are loving having an easy run while these 2 go at it.

I'd put my money down on an East conference team winning the title this year....Either Cavaliers, Celtics or Magic...and hypothetically speaking if the magic were up against the lakers again...i'd bet on the Magic winning in 6...just like the lakers lost to boston and then won the next season...i think the Magic will do the same...but I am a Cavs fan.....BORN AND RAISED BABY! i just like talkin ball....thoughts on this??

Magic seem to have the easiest run to the Eastern Conference finals, bobcats then hawks - challenge will be eithier celtics/cavs - than most likely lakers again. Would not be surprised to see a repeat of the finals last year.

Perhaps I'm being picky, but I haven't been endeared to the playoffs so far.

Last year there were a bunch of great series, Bulls/Celtics going to 7 springs to mind straight away.

So far there hasn't been too much to eagerly look forward to. Lakers v upstart Thunder was decent as was the Bucks taking the Hawks to 7, but everything else has been pedestrian to date.

Cavs v Celtics could have some life and may very well prove to be the best series prior to Finals. A likely Suns/Lakers West Finals should be ok, and in the East the Magic will go through (hopefully to face the Cavs, purely for interest sake ... and I loathe the Celts).

I know what you saying man, i mean you could treat the Cavs/Celtics series as a bit of a final, would like to see it go down to the wire in a 7 games series, where as the other series won't be much of a battle until the conference finals.

Nice win today for the Celtics, Rondo had a monster tripple double, interested to see what happens in the next game.

The suns ,Lakers and Magic seem to be cruising to next round...

I'm not surprised at all, i think to many people under estimated the Celtics, Cavs look very ordinary and heavily rely on Lebron, if the cavs lose i wonder if Lebron will re-sign .:D

So am i mate, this is killing me i dont like Celtics or Lakers and it looks like both of them are advancing through BUT i've still got faith in my boy LB to get them home in 7..

@1711 yea mate i think he is gone if they lose, shaq will retire and Mo an jameison are stuck playing well in a crap team..

Anyone else surprised the Hawks fired coach Woodson? I acknowledge they stuttered in the second round, but he's done a great job with them over the last few seasons.

I'm not an Orlando fan, but boy am I gunning for them to beat the Celts. Orlando v either Lakers/Sun wouldn't be a bad finals series, with a few decent matchups that would be worth watching.

the knick have cap space they have been clearing out for the past 3 years to make room for queen james. if the retain david lee sign james and then it just comes down to getting a good guard in the draft and it could well be on.

i wouldnt be too suprised if they were to end up with bosh as well maybe in a sign and trade with toronto.

i was i thought he did a good job there. any of the franchises looking to rebuild really should be looking at him. it is shame for atlanta that they came up against a red hot cavs last year and a red hot magic this year and that thier front office didnt reconise this.

also i would like to thank boston as we now have home court the rest of the way should we get past them.

go the magic!!!!!!

they were pushed by an under strength bucks team and got swept by the Magic, yes the magic were hot but they have spent some cash on that hawks team and to loose by a total of 100+ over 4 games... time for the coach to come up with a new stratagy and he didn't!

The teams in for the Lebron chase are the Nets, knicks, bulls, clippers. Cant really see the nba letting him go with out winning a championship for the cavs, cavs might try to get amare but they need a robin for batman!

Well yeh Jordan had pippen , Lebron has ?? jamison,mo,shaq - not really any of these guys are the same combo of a jordan/pippen etc.

Shaq - aging centre - top 50 player, injury prone as older

Mo - more of a 2 guard then a point,in consistent at times

Jamison - solid player -double double guy - verteran

I think the cavs need a 2 guard or a power foward to compliment James.

James / Wade , James/Bosh , James/Amare etc.:D

AOK

haha random kid lovin his footy i heard Nudgee was full of boy kissers so dont know how good they would go at footy haha jus kiddin buddy :)

its lookin more an more like another rematch of the only two teams i didnt want in the final Celtics an Lakers.. the veterans are getting it done an showing the young uns a lesson in finals basketball..

if thats the case i'm going to say Go Lakers :)

21-05-10, 20:26
Yeah , its looking more and more likely like a rematch of 2008 finals, both teams pretty much have the same core of players from back then, difference for the lakers - ron artest & semi-healthy bynum , celtics - the emergence of Rajon as an allstar point , main addition- rasheed. Be good to see it go to 7 games!:D
