View Full Version : School Boys State Championships Caloundra 2010
How are the teams looking coming into the Tournament that starts tomorrow on the Sunny Coast.
Any predictions ??? Sunny Coast to be strong and Northern. Met East has the goods but apparently there's a few that are away.

Sunny Coast by 35 in emi and 40 in final Seth Cam Cory and Sam in Qld team
Once again Cory is the dominant point guard in the state on the winning team and finally he is recognised for being the best by making his first state team ever. About time selectors. Hopefullt 2 or 3 will make Aussie team as well good luck boys

They might. Schoolboys is usually a poorly selected team. Dunno about that guy from Cairns being in it. Cam didn't have that great a carnival either. Coaching could make or break teams at these comps as most have no idea what they are doing. Cory, Seth and Sam definitely deserved a spot however. They might have a chance at Aus because Jim Wallis and Tom Laycock made it and they are nothing special.

it good to see people are giving praise to a team that played zone the whole game(sun coast),, great defence and good to see how the players matched up 1 v 1

Girls team - Maddie Allen, Kassie Donnelly, Jodie Fyfe, Ashley Taia (Met East), Kayla Ward, Anna Mackay, Kayla Ward (Northern), Teyla Evans, Connie Finlay, Mercedes Hudson (Peninsula), Sarah Davis (Met North) - Mikhaela Donnelly, Tahlia Jeffress, Maddie Willey (Met East) all unavailable but 'would have figured strongly in selections'. Didn't get the boys team sorry!

Who cares if they matched up or played zone they were very good at it as has been discussed but believe me they would have won just as well in a man as their man d is even better than their zone
