I think that this round's matchup between Rocky and Mackay is almost a grand final. If Mackay don't win this game by 23+ then you can just about give the trophy to Rocky. Of course injury and / or complacency could be a factor, but I'd expect that securing home court advantage for the playoffs will pretty much seal it for Rocky.

Oh well, the other 12 teams might as well just stop playing now. It has been proclaimed that these 2 will be the only teams that can win it. PLEASE!! There is still a long way to go in the season and whilst granted it is going to be tough to go in there and win i think there are still a number of other teams that can give it a shake if all fit and healthy. I wouldnt write-off Northside, South West or Townsville yet. Im sure if these teams come and play hard they are able to pull of the upset.

Huh?!?!?!?!?! Quite a wild comment that.

A solid weekend of ball coming up, with reasonable consideration given that all matches will likely be well-contested to an extent.

Rocky travelling to Mackay is easily the pick of the bunch. Mackay's agile scoring vs Rocky's inside strength should be a treat.

I admit bias, but the Wizards away to Maroochy should be interesting. Maroochy rolling after a surprise spanking of the Goldie are not to be underestimated - Waz will have the team's defensive strategy fine tuned and the boys love shooting on their home court. Standing room only at Maroochy stad.

Rounding out the picks of the litter this weekend would be Townie @ Cairns. Both teams reasonably even and desperate for a win to boost their chances of taking the prized 3rd seed in the POD.

On the POD, it's a shame Esparza won't be returning this season. I would've liked to have seen the Power at full strength to give Cairns and Townie a good shake, but unless they get a strong replacement quickly they may start to see their playoff hopes slip. Is there anybody game-fit in QLD at the moment who could jump in and help them out? I've seen former player Dan Simanic at a few Wizard games, but he obviously doesn't fill the need for a reliable big.

They could use Mariana Tolo... she is from that part of the world not playing for anyone in QBL .... could be playing SEABL not sure but a reliable Big she could do that for glandstone im sure! and maybe play better then there current big.... BS

Yea simo had microfracture knee surgery so wont be returning any where this year.

Esparza was a great fit for the team and is a shame for sure.

So did Reggie get charged for 'educating' the refs after the game ?

Heard Reggie will be out for the next 3 weeks. Got off lightly.

3 weeks for what???

The hearing hasn't even taken place yet. I honestly think he'll get more then 3. The person who needs to be questioned is Toni. She lost control of the game before the no call unsportsmanlike foul. Spose can't ride on Scott's coat tails for ever. All very simialr to the Jawai incident a few years back.

Though Mat Hanson was a shining star on the night.

Whispers out of Rockhampton that they are already preparing for Golson to be out for a while and they have put him on an "Injury Waiver" and are bringing back Trigger for another 3 game stint against Mackay, Northside and Cairns.

Whats the bet one Cameron Tragardh is rushed in to once again act as a replacement in Rocky? You know if it is possible the Rockets admin will try and make it happen. Shouldn't the guy and his team be penalised if he is found guilty? Bringing in a replacement for an injured player is one thing. However replacing a guy who alledgedly followed the refs to the locker room after a 20 point win to have a bitch is a different story. Got to ask what was he thinking? Rockets win by 20, the refs might have missed the call, big deal move on. Not the best move on Golsons part if he is found guilty.

I think the deadline for using a replacent is july 2nd? My question would be: Can Golson come back for Trigger after the July 2 deadline? At least you know that Trigger will just be doing it as a favour and won't cost the Rockets any money. ;)

Internet slow today other posts where no up when I ask the question.

If true he got off lightly with 3 weeks, as other codes have given much longer suspensions for similar offense's.

If they bring trigger back will this no set a presedense for other associations, to do something similar.

Even though I am not a great fan of the refs, our officals must be protected, the association allowed this player to follow the refs, therefore the association is also at fault and must be penalised in some form.

He followed out after, being promised by Queen Toni an explaination about the call after the game (this was promised in front of the entire Rockets bench). Bare in mind that Darren Richardson was right behind Reggie and was praised by Toni her self about how well he controlled Reggie and kept the situation under control.

It's easy to pass judgment but remember Reggie is the one that landed flat on his back from full flight from an obvious foul. I say obvious because both video's show the hold which resulted in Golson landing the way he did.

Should make the game this weekend a corker!

good to see the boards are alive with the sound of music..

i think i will save my predictions until we find out what is going on with Reggie
seems not many ppl knew about reggies little outburst but i remember wookie doin it a few years ago an he got done for 3 weeks an that was on the court so i would imagine followin the refs to the locker room would at least warrant a similar punishment..

but it is Rocky so you never know what Rabbit they can pull out of the hat, they should get that lawyer Hayne had when he got 0 weeks for headbutting Slater haha

one things is for sure there should be no way in the world that Cam T or anyone for that matter should be allowed to fill in as "a favour" till reggie gets back.. this could of cost them the home final though so will be interesting to see the results..

that sounds like a bad foul an im not condoning it but reggie is a bit of whinger as well maybe Toni just said that too shut him up..

True she could have just said it to shut him up, but it was to the entire bench while play had been stopped, so it wasn't a simple in passing chat. nether the less i can't see him getting off and 3-6 sounds about right. It was night of stupid.

The rocky crowd was at it's worest at the game too, when big number 11 got rejected some fine specimen of rockhampton life ran to the only exit with a pizza box to taunt the big guy. Any normal club would have stepped in and removed the idiot but no one went near him.

Though the place is run by Jamie boon, so It does amaze me that the roof hasn't collapsed yet.

there is a big difference between following sombody out to get an explaination and what reggie has been charged with. but i guess there is no video of the incident so it all depends on he-said-she-said and witness'

if found guilty he should not be allowed back this year and rocky should not be allowed to refill the import spot.

we should all know by later tonight.

24-06-10, 15:20
All im going to say is WOW there is alot of ppl on thos board that are willing to pass judgement without evening seein what was done. It was stupid for him to walk out after the refs but ppl are acting like he was running out there to beat them up which was not the case at all. This is his career his job the way he went down could have serisouly hurt him and his chances of maybe getting contrats in other places.

If somebody tells you that they will talk to you about the call later, after the game then they leave for the change rooms straight away what is he ment to do at that point. he was clearly frustrated and a little hot under the collar which is understandable i would be the exact same way if there was a no call and i landed like he did after being fouled. the whole situation was not handled well from the last 2-3 mins of the game to out side and thats due to both parties the players and the refs. Ppl saying that rocky let him go out side after the refs need to wake up like some one pointed out Darren was out there straight away with him and then some of the players went out to make sure it was under control.

Its a shame that it escalated to this point. With out him even saying anything to the refs i think he should get maybe 2 -3 weeks so he knows it was wrong. But hey ive seen Jawai threaten a ref by putting his finger to his throat and acting as if hes cutting it dont think he was suspended for to long for doing that

Honestly the fact that he is even up on report is a joke. If he gets anytime at all it is an ever bigger joke. When a Referee invites you to query a call after the game, and then places a report when you do...Give me a break. It would be different if this was done in a threatening manner which was clearly not the case. I fully support Referees but not small women's syndrome.

Anyone who has been around the game for anytime at all will know that if the referee says they will talk to you about it after the game should know that it doesnt happen straight away. They prefer to leave some time for emotions to die down first and you normally cant get a debrief until a day or so after once the red mist has settled from everbodies eyes.

Whether this is right or not is up for discussion but that is simply the way it works. Maybe Reggie's long time whinging to the referees during games finally caught up with him. I know the referee's in the Townsville game a couple of weeks ago were taken to task for not issuing him with a tech for constant arguing. From what i have seen of him it happens time and time again and he gets away with it in Rocky most of the time because the ref's are too intimidated to call a tech there.

The Ref may have said I will talk to you after the game. When Reggie was walking after the ref did the ref say go away? if they did reggie has no right then to persue the call. What happens on the court should stay on the court.

A player did get suspended for 3 weeks 2 season ago for saying something to the ref after a game as 2 cents mentioned and it was not that bad either. He got 3 weeks as they wanted to make an example out of the player so I guess reggie will get hit with at least the same.

At the end of the day it was stupid and the club will now suffer from this and loose money if they loose the home court finals.....

Can Cam T play the 3 spot??? I guess he can but not as good as reggie.

So anyone got anything on the outcome of the judiciary last night?

Now I try not to bag anyone on here as I wouldn't want to be bagged myself and I may be jumping to conclusions here but if our deep pocketed brothers from the the highway have put reggie on the DL after him being suspended and RE BOUGHT not BROUGHT trigger back then that's seriously messed up. It just opens up the door for cameo appearances in the future by seppo or NBL players.
I think it's unethical, immoral and not in the spirit of the game, if reggie is suspended cop it on the chin like every other club would have to. Not to mention I'm sure the coaches of the next 3 teams they play would be a little upset. Do they play Northside in the next 3??? Just because it's a tough stretch of games. If you had Ipswich, toowoomba and brissy (no disrespect to those teams in anyway just making and example here) would this be happening? Provided it is like I said I don't know all the facts.

Something is flawed with the system of having a restricted player and then releasing him for another restricted player only to have your other restricted player suspended/"possibly" injured so you bring the first restricted player back. Is there some ruling on that with BQ/BA I wouldn't know.

So that's my nagas and like I said it's not meant to be a shot at rocky

Also for all the qbl clubs who have more than one seppo and have one of them on a working visa. BA is banging the working visa as of next season so to have to imports they will both need to be on a athlete's visa meaning clubs have to fork out more $$$ for 2 imports. So better start looking for some solid Aussies to try to attract to the smaller clubs as it may be hard to pay for 2 seppo imports.

I say good on Rocky if they can afford to bring good talent to the league it only makes the league stronger. I think the refs should be made accountable sometimes for their decisions. On the other hand players and coaches are just as responsible. It is not a perfect world and it is not a perfect game, great to see all this activity on the site . Hope the crowds will be stronger this week as there is some great matchups happening.

All this raises a few issues. If we are still going by ABA rules neither player can play this week-end.
1. Cam T asked for a clearance to Spartans 2 weeks ago which Rocky said they sent to BQ. Maybe they told a fib and did not send it. If they did they need a clearance from Spartans for him to return to Rocky which I am sure he would get bu that also need to be lodges 7 days prior to playing. The fact that he did not play for Spartans means nothing.
2. A restricted player that is derigistered is not allowed to join the team again in the same season. Sure replace Reggie with Cam after a 7 day wait but then say goodbye to Reggie for the season.

We all know that Cam will be in Melbourne in August so perhaps this is all pie in the sky stuff from Rocky.

Time someone either rewrote the rules to reflect what QABL wants or they read the rules and make teams stick by them.

Rocky are not only team dodging the spirit of the rules. Maybe BQ staff need to start enforcing what the teams agreed upon.

ok unethically i would like to see Peni, Paul Scott, Trigger, Mcdade an Wook take the court as the biggest 1st 5 of all QABL history although this would put Trigger at the top of the Zone on D something he may not be familiar with haha

Rules
25-06-10, 13:00
All each club need do is read what is written. Hell I have been out of it for 4 years and I still know most of them.

If the rules allow it then it is okay no matter how people percieve someone is getting around them. The old addage "rules are made to be broken" applies. If Rocky are still within the rules then they are allowed to do whatever as long as they do not gain an unfair (illegal) advantage.

The trouble with QBL is that no administrator (club or BQ) understands the intent nor has the time to enforce. It is still about just getting the competition running with a focus on the teams . Definately not about getting the best competition running which is why QBL was best when you had administrators like Fred, Warren, Denis R, Denis D, Allan pitted against each other.

BQ stands to upset to many people if they started to really enforce what the clubs (when it suits them) wanted. Try this in NBL or SEABL and you will get eaten. All clubs have administrators that make sure no one gets rippped off nor another gain an advantage.

Until you have good and even govenance the competition (structure) will continue suffer through poor direction.

The precedent has been set already with players being registered and de- registered with Northside Wizards last season. So the argument about once you are deregistered then you can’t re-register is laughable. It has been done before by the Wizards.
It is amazing that some of you people take the moral high ground and state Rocky will act improperly, unethically and in whichever way you think is flat wrong. Whatever it is they do will be within the rules that all 14 teams play under – it is that simple.
Would there be this much debate if we were talking about a team that was 0-10 – probably not. Would we be arguing over this if it were not Cam T ? This is tall poppy syndrome with anyone and everyone wanting to knock Rocky over. They run their organisation like a business and what most people don’t see is the willingness to assist smaller associations with time and resources on how to improve.
I am sure Mugsy/Boonie would love to have the success that Ladewig has had in both Juniors and Seniors too by the way……

Boonie doesnt have an ethical bone in his body so to be surprised by this is just ridiculous.. I know for a fact that Boonie once sold a dead parrot to a blind kid and used the profit to buy DVD copies of 1 man 1 jar..

Golson is a complete JERK. To even debate about this guy is pathetic, i'll help him pack his bags and drive him to the airport the QBL doesnt need this rot.. Goodbye C-Golson.

G Scott for prime minister!!

Hello readers, this is almost as big as the Rudd/Gillard news it seems. First of all my team plays Rocky on Sat night so lets get that out of the way. The way I see it if Rocky are acting within the rules then what is the big deal. The issue I have is noone can tell us what is going on, therefore it is a little unfair that our team can't prepare all week knowing who they are playing against ie With Golson, with Cam or with neither.

Please I do not think anyone can attack the Rocky administrators as they do a first class job doing what they know is best for their association and that is their job. Borgy

As per usual, we're getting shit service from BQ with respect to the administration of our premier competition, so nobody should be surprised that nothing has been published and that we are all left in the dark on the weekend's events. Clubs must be wondering where the money goes.

Anyway. Common sense SHOULD apply to the Golson issue at hand. If he is indeed suspended, there is absolutely no way Rocky should be able to replace him, even if he is legitimately injured. I would be utterley astounded if that were to happen and BQ would have plenty to answer to.

If Golson is not suspended, but injured, good on Rocky for finding a swift replacement for him.

Leave the personal attacks on Jamie. If BQ can't look after our competition in a sensible manner, it's not Jamie's fault if there are loopholes etc that can be exploited. Everybody wants to win this thing, he's just doing his job.

Don't agree with the personal attack on Schiebs either, very ordinary.

why is it different for a restricted player compaired to a local player?? double standards??

If a local player was rubbed out he would be replaced by another local, why is the import different? the team is allowed 2 restricted players to play, why can't two play? the team is not the one that got suspended the player did. golson gets sat and 2 restricted players still play.

the Wiz are p!ssed off that Cam T is playin for Rocky & most ppl would be, be interesting to see the outcome if any... this will be a fast game with plenty of outside shooting with both sides liking the Arc.. the difference will be the NS inside game of which Clips have none.. $42 on NS

This is the issue in a nutshell.
I dont know what the rules are but it seems that the problem is that the rules are not clear. Rocky obviously believe that there is room for interpretation and BQ has a problem if they have left that door open. In my view, Rocky admin are one of the most professional outfits in the country. Mr bEn
28-06-10, 01:33
With plenty of downtime during work on Saturday night, I found myself following the livetstats quite a bit.

All the mens games were close for most of the way:

- Mackay/Rocky was tight until Rocky lost their legs in the final period and got thumped.

- Pirates/Bundy tight until the last

- Neers were pumping the Suns by 15 in the third, but then bent over and got drilled themselves. I would ike to hear what happened hear. On face value the Suns were in control until midway through the second when Toowoomba went on a huge run. Neers lead by a decent margin until B-Rad got it going.

- Cairns/Townie tight

- Maroochy challenged the Wiz all the way until late in the fourth

Today was very surprised that Maroochy pumped the Caps at the shack to the tune of 30+. Gladdy's new import suited up in their 5-point loss to the Pirates and logged 29/11 which is decent, but as somebody else said, Iwanicki had a WOW on 1/13 doh! Now coach Chris Clarkson suited up for Ippy's double, I didn't think they were that desperate for players.

POW candidates:

MEN
No glaringly outstanding performances. Top 3 in my books are Thalo 34/13 v Neers, Bubbles 40/9 vs Maroochy and Gleeson 33/3/5 v Ippy

WOMEN
Cat Scanlon went 38/10 and 25/11 in a split road double, best pick of the round.

well as predicted Rd 9 had more twists an turns then a M Night Shyamalan film...

Rocky pay the price for letting Reggie having a "controlled outburst" after getting majorly blocked by Shack in the Bundy game instead of tellin him to pull his head in you got blocked they let him talk an it ruins their perfect season when Mackay make them pay which could of cost them a home final add that onto maybe wasting money on a Cam T plane ticket if he cant play and it probably wasn't the weekend Rocky were hoping for..

Cairns get Heat back after last week with Jerome Hill putting up numbers that should at least be mentioned in POW circles with 19p-9r-3bl at 70%

few of the Clips boys will get their names mentioned on the QABL website
Zane had a good satnite with 25p-11a-6r in a loss to Wiz an Izzy had a good sunday with 28-8r-6a in their shalacking of Caps which split the wend for Clips but capped off a bad weekend for Brissie after Ippy step up an get them at the Swich..

not to many contenders for WOW this week i'll give honourable mention to Mcdade who at the moment is monstering the boards but also monstering his shotting % with 1-7 FG an 1-6 FT

only looking at stats on a website my boy Iwanicki gets the nod for WOW in rd 9 and if i didnt know had a hectic night shift at work & was playing on no sleep i would be alot more critical but everyone loves the Firies so i'll just give him the WOW an hopefully watch him tear it up next weekend as seems to be the result of past recipients of the WOW award..

Ben if you were following live stats you would have seen that in the 4th quarter it seemed as tho all of neers players that were getting runs on the board were benched... that's it basically, the fresh legs that were on when the game started to turn just couldn't find the hole and ended up giving away a 19 point lead to lose by 11. I obviously have to agree on the facts of who northside have and have not played yet. But i like to remind you on the other facts, that northside like all the southern qld teams are immediately at a disadvantage against the north, where they lack the same budget, public interest or nbl feeder. eg, where do all the mackay players come from, and whats their retainer? this argument could go on.

So any southern team that wants to really compete in the end, have to match this concept on a MUCH smaller budget! Seems like a competition before the competition even begins. Having said that, you still need a sound program, as well as hiring the services of quality players. Just having a couple stars wont do it. I believe there is another southern team spending lot more money than northside and not getting it done.

A comment that has been brought up before is, do the north teams need the south more than the other way around? Certainly one way to save money. I would like someone educated and in the know to also answer where most of the complaints come from?

I agree 3 and 8 is not the making of a strong season with the talent Suns have. As for the northern teams there is'nt the depth in population to support the talent sometimes that is why the teams have to play marquee type players to attract other players. If the club can do a good job of chasing sponsors and have a big budget good on them. It doesn't say on the banner QBL winner ( but did it with paying )....

ah this old chestnut again..

i wont answer for all the north teams cos Gladstone is a little unique in the fact our budget is ALOT smaller then Rocky an Mackay an we dont have a NBL program like Cairns an Tville..

then combine that with a few factors like we have the smallest local population base an maybe the smallest player association numbers of any other team and the fact that not many Aussie players want to come live in Gladstone depsite its many great qualities etc etc so you can see why we think we are between the rock an the hard place...

BUT we do have awesome public interest being the biggest fish in a puny pond and we have managed to win a womans championship bringing in 2 very talented aussies an their friend and get some good men simply by luck of employment location so things could be worse...

as for who needs who more i think its a stupid question you cant have a State league without involving the whole state obviously if you just wanted a southern cross set up you could easily do it without us..

Dull day at work
30-06-10, 16:14
Just throwing it out there, if the Southern Teams dominated over the north, would it be question over who needs who? And if somehow a "Southern Cross" set up was to come back, where would you draw the line? Is it South of Gladstone as it was before, or only the Greater Brisbane Area?

Districts where behind the Southern Cross and a lot followed them, and the amount of effort and passion and vision Waz put in to getting the state back together was one of the best moves for a state wide comp. This is something that should be worked on to get it right, instead of bitching about north and south.

If there was a north and south league (how boring the north games would be playing the same teams all the time) and you have a North vs South final, would the outcome be any different? I don't think so.

Keep the state together, but get BQ to be proactive and promote the league more, seriously, where does all the money go and really what do the clubs, players, fans get for it?

Not too much with substandard news and reviews of the games. Have a look at the SEABL website there are great write ups on the games and things to follow, it just looks perfersional, compared to the QBL garbage.

30-06-10, 16:30
These are just some thoughts so please people from north do not start yelling.

Given Brisbane does not have an NBL program it is fast becoming apparent that the standard and support for basketball will continue to drop unless something drastic happens.

Rumours are floating around about Spartans looking at getting a group together to go NBL. This is far from reality with them merely exploring the possibility of getting a group together with BBI to at least keep people talking about NBL. Meeting is to happen in August with Leroy Loggins becoming face of new launch attempt.

In the interim period it is no secret that BBI and Districts are looking at going as possibly a joint structure with SEABL to become the face of the new NBL structure. Makes a lot of sense with the public in Brisbane and it does give sport a much larger base from which to recruit suport from. Also will mean better players can be supported better through greater resources.

This though, raises the issue of where basketball in Brisbane region should be focused. If BBI and Spartans unite neither will have enough time/money/volunteers to be involved in other programs. I personally think the Brisbane basketball community needs to focus on what is best for the metropolitan region, just as country communities do.

To say we have State wide competition is great but it really has no value to the Brisbane region. The sport will not gain media coverage and sponsorship that the regional structures have playing within the State. For the bigger media and money we need to be playing against the other NBL teams.

I believe it would be better for the metro Associations to focus on a competition down here that unites them as one targeting a strategy of NBL in the future.

The Associations working together can assist the sports development by using money and resources, used in playing in the north, to make a much better product with better (yes recruited) players such as imports/NBL that will once again do schools etc.

It is the long term benefit that all of us in Queensland need to start thinking about. The north would survive given local support and the NBL is so strong up there.

No it doesnt. But everybody knows and no one gives a shit about a BQ banner really. Homegrown and developed talent making it to the AIS, College and the (big) pro leagues and providing pathways for youth is more a measure of an Associations stature than a scungy banner that costs $100K a year to try to win. Just a different view on it.

Thats a very "carinacentric" view I reckon. If Big Al ever got his way basketball in Queensland would start and finish at the Gateway bridge and Beenleigh overpass. Stuff the sport, the North and anybody who doesnt play at Districts.

Interesting point of view.

The reality is that the Cross was started by 6 of the old SBL clubs who couldn't afford to keep subsidizing the northern teams, some which were going broke.

In the few years that the Cross was running it was actually responsible for a HUGE amount of growth in basketball in Qld. It provided a top level pathway for clubs like Northside, Logan and Gladstone who weren't playing anywhere before the Cross started, and if you have a look at the growth at clubs like Maroochydore, Ipswich, and Toowoomba during the Cross compared to now you will find that they grew almost twice as fast during the Cross.

At the end of every QBL season this board lights up with posts about who is in and who is out because clubs are constantly weighing up if the high cost of the league is really worth it. Logan is one club who decided it wasn't. At the end of every Cross season the discussion was which of the many new teams that wanted to join should be let in.

So what is the answer? Simple, let the four northern teams join SD to create a northern conference of the SEABL. For the sake of the sport.

It should also be noted that when the cross competition was running each of these associations had just started up, and each were in growth areas that were not being serviced by the other associations - the fact that their membership grew can hardly be attributed to them playing cross, its plainly because they were providing a service that wasn't already existent in the area.

I honestly have no idea how the northern teams 'joining' (see 'joining fee') has any benefit to them - it's obvious the benefits to SD, but I can't see any legitimate benefits for the others.

Sorry my reply to thread skills are lacking - this is supposed to also be in the above post.

Having northern teams in SEABL is of no benefit to Districts. The best thing for them is the likes of BBI, Logan or Gold Coast joining SEABL which is on the cards under new "Second Tier" competition being proposed by BA starting in 2012. Only two teams in proposed new structure in Queensland with Spartans already having one spot.

That way without an increase in costs (no travel) they get a home crowd and gate that in time could/should become larger just the same as having an extra major sponsor.

The original post was about what it may take or need to happen to get basketball in the south as a major player in the sports world so we are getting media coverage etc. It is not about stopping QBL but more about what is best way to get NBL back in capital city.

Districts are doing fine at SEABL and the player drain in seniors will continue towards them as long as our sport is unhealthy across the region.

Yes we have a few teams in south recruiting better players but at what cost. Junior development is pretty much stalled at many Associations. Numbers are down with fees going up. We need an NBL team and we need a supporting structure that will be there for long haul/term. Forget about your ego and start to look at what we as a sport need to do get basketball back in Bribane at NBL level.

Ha ha are you saying that Districts, Ipswich, MDore and Towoomba were just starting up when Cross was startedin 2002? That's a flat out lie. Twmba won back to back Qld ABA championships in the early 90's. Ippy were there the first year and played TVille in the GF of the innagural State league in 87. MDore also played in the first season and went on to win a national Championship in 97? Districts had hardly just started up, they dominated the womens comp for years and won their share of mens titles too.

I have no problem with you making a statement to back up your arguement, but telling porkys don't get it done! Wizards and Logan were realitive newcomers, that I will agree too. I have no idea if their memberships grew during this time, but your argument is not correct. Try sticking to some sembalance of the truth hey?
