ESPN Coverage is CRAP!!!

Is anyone else sick of ESPN doing voiceovers for NBA games? How can they use commentators that aren't even at the game, they have to mute all the ambient noise and talk over the top of the people who are at the game. Not only that, the people they use are boring as SHIT! It's usually the same two guys who do some of the Euroleague games.

Lucky Fox Sports is back on board with the NBA this year, the crew from TNT (Barkley, Smith, Collins, Miller etc) are excellent. My sweet surround system just gets wasted whenever I have to watch ESPN with no live game sounds, there's just no atmosphere! It's a double whammy of boredom when ESPN shows the Spurs in voiceover as well!

Alot of talk about Jawai going into the next seasons draft some saying as high as 1st round top 30... any thoughts??

will he wont he if he does will he get any time... is there any other potential aussies in the running to be drafted??

Aussies being predicted to get picked up in the draft this year are

Nathan Jawai (late first round early second)
Andrew Ogilvy (late first round early second)
Alex Maric (second round)

Pat Mills is attracting a lot of attention, but given that he hasn't rated a mention i guess he won't be nominating and staying in college for at least another year.

I'm just watching the playoffs on the computer, nba.com now provides the TNT live coverage with four different cameras. Excellent quality and great commentary live.

ESPN delivers excellent coverage, and usually you do get the two commentators who are at the game, with background noise. You can sometimes see where they are commentating from on screen. I'll agree with you that the EuroLeague commentators are terrible, but they're not the same guys.

TNT coverage is good, but I get sick of Charles Barkley ridiculing his old teams.

And of course it is boring when the Spurs play on ESPN, it's the Spurs playing (except when they are playing the Suns, Mavs or Hornets - good rivalries).
