Default guess

redlands is training for a few weeks now but they would need some substantial player addition to be in top 4 or 5 teams.

Why? Maybe thats why they started training early and hard and wontneed to recruit like other clubs to try and turn a result?

A little bit sad that there is even discussions about 'player moves' at this age group.

Yeah know what your saying. But for some of these kids this is their 4th rep season. In the States high school kids start to be known at the national level. At least we're only talking local.

it is but I can understand it, some kids have been with same coach for 2 or 3 years now, and if there is no mutual liking or even if the coach is not up to the level , well then

Agree wholeheartedly. At this age, clubs should focus on attracting new talent into the sport and developing them rather than poaching from other clubs or hoping they'll get a disgruntled kid or two from another club.

Default Why recruit

Sometimes players move out of choice. Maybe not enjoying the game where they are playing? Maybe want to move to a club where they have friends and want to play with them.
Its a game. Its meant to be fun. I think we all want our kids to have fun and keep playing, no mattter what level they play at. These kids are 12/13. They R kids!!!! they should play the game and have fun! If they need to change clubs to do this, so be it.
